Punctuality

Vintage clockOne thing that my dad instilled in me was a great appreciation for being on time, being early.
Every time that we went somewhere we were always early. Always.

Being on time (Early) shows that you value what you’re doing.
Being on time for a meeting shows that you value the person you’re meeting with.
Being on time for your job shows that you want to keep it.
Being on time shows that you care.

You can say it’s cultural, I get that, I understand that, but you’re wrong. šŸ™‚

If you have a set time to meet someone and you don’t show up on time, you’re disrespecting the person you’re meeting with.
If you are going to be late, let the person know. Unless there has been some great tragedy there’s no excuse to not let the person know.

If showing up late is a common thing for you, then it just shows me that you don’t steward your time well. That you don’t value your time.

How you steward your time=how you steward your life.

That’s all. Rant over.
